$500 Company or business - (over 1,000 employees)
Note: Regarding company or business members, a “sole proprietorship” is
just that - one person operating that business. Should a business
or company member have, as an example, a single owner and one or more
independent contractors serving as representatives of that business,
for the purposes of this dues schedule, such contractors would be
counted as “employees”. Dues to the Chamber are not deductible as a
charitable contribution, but may be deductible as an ordinary and
necessary business expense. A portion of the dues, however, is not
deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense to the extent
that the Chamber engages in state or federal lobbying. The
non-deductible portion of the dues for 2006 is estimated at 10%.
All dues must be paid by January 31th or you will be dropped as a
member in good standing. Members in good standing are entitled to
discounts on Chamber events, dinners, and programs. For members
who join after January 15th, dues will be pro-rated on a monthly
basis.
Adopted: November 22, 2005
An invoice will be sent to your business for payment.
